The latest SCFI index from the Shanghai Shipping Exchange reveals a 12.5-point surge to 1769.54 points, marking a weekly uptick of 0.7% and extending a three-week streak of increases.

Notably, rates from the Far East to Europe held steady at $1,971 per TEU, while those to the Mediterranean climbed to $3,048 per TEU, marking a $38 uptick (1.3%). However, rates to the US West slipped slightly to $3,175 per FEU, down $30 (0.9%), and to the US East to $4,071 per FEU, a $108 decrease (2.6%).
